Dataset Overview

This dataset consists of global temperature anomaly time series, compiled from two major sources:

  • GISS Surface Temperature Analysis (GISTEMP)

  • Global component of Climate at a Glance (GCAG)

Two datasets are provided:

  • Global monthly mean temperature anomalies

  • Annual mean temperature anomalies

All temperature values are reported as anomalies in degrees Celsius, relative to a standardized base period.
